World Vision Rwanda is a child-focused Christian humanitarian organization implementing development programs in 29 Districts of Rwanda.
World Vision Rwanda seeks to hire a highly qualified, dedicated and experienced national for the position of FLR Project Facilitator. The position will be based at Nyagatare District reporting to the FLR&EGA Projects Manager.
Purpose of the position:
Facilitate the implementation of Forest Landscape Restoration project activities in Nyagatare District and ensuring that program operations are effective and sustainable in keeping with the standards of agreed WVI ministry policies. The FLR Project Facilitator will ensure the implementation of FLR Project activities and their integration within covered World Vision Clusters.
The major responsibilities include:

Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical skills and Experience
The following knowledge, skills and abilities may be acquired through a combination of formal schooling, self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Agro-forestry, Community forestry, Agriculture.
- 2 years’ experience in community development work, agro-forestry, forestry, agriculture, environmental protection, agriculture extension services.
- The position requires ability and willingness to travel domestically up to 100% of the time.
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Kinyarwanda
- Must have a valid motorcycle riding license and able to ride.
Salary:
The salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
