1. TV News Reporter/Presenter (3 Positions)
JOB TITLE: TV NEWS REPORTER/ PRESENTER (ENGLISH)

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

- As a news anchor he/she will work closely with news reporters specifically for gathering news, and broadcasting newscasts throughout the day,
- He/she will be able to conduct interviews and be able to make an impromptu decisions should the need arise in the course of news bulletin,
- She/he will follow up on current events and present news stories to audiences in an informative, interesting and unbiased way,
- He/she will be able to do research on matters that concern the local community, national, state and international current affairs,
- He/she will have to demonstrate a high sense of discipline by collaborating with the news directors to pick the right stories that should be broadcasted daily in line with the RBA audience’s preferences,
- He/she will be required to work under stressful conditions and immense pressure to meet strict deadlines,
- He/she will identify potential interviewees, conduct interviews both live and recorded;
- Quality check each story to ensure grammatical correctness, accuracy, and clarity,
JOB PROFILES:
- 2 years working experience from Media industry,
- Experience in English News anchoring on both TV & Radio,
- Well acquainted with conducting one on one interviews in English,
- Strong analytical, research, and investigative skills,
- Ability to take initiatives and work with minimal supervision,
- News anchors must have outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, and a clear on air voice,

2. Quality Control & traffic Management
JOB TITLE: QUALITY CONTROL & TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT
NUMBER OF POSITION: 1
EMPLOYMENT TERMS: PERMANENT
JOB DESCRIPTIONS
- Follow the programs on air around the clock to ensure that there is no disruption;
- Report to the in Charge of Programs of any failures;
- Ensure that programs to be aired are in a good condition, prior to broadcast;
- Ensure discipline and order in the control room;
- Check completed program for accuracy in conformance with RBA rules and regulations, and resolve program inaccuracies;
- Confer with production Manager to discuss issues;
- Coordinate activities for KC2;
- Develop promotions for current programs and specials;
- Direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in broadcast news, sports, or programming;
JOB PROFILES:
Degree in any field with 2 yrs experience in TV Production or diploma in journalism or Communication with 4years working experience with excellent performance record.

3. Cashier/ Rubavu Community Radio
JOB TITLE: CASHIER/RUBAVU COMMUNITY RADIO
NUMBER OF POSITION: 1
EMPLOYMENT TERMS: PERMANENT
JOB DESCRIPTIONS
- Receive cash and other payment instruments from customers;
- Record all cash transactions in the accounting software on a daily basis;
- Using internet, Send the recorded daily transactions to the chief accountant at Head Quarters;
- Produce monthly report on a regular basis;
- Ensure each customer receives outstanding service standards;
- Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements;
- Accurately and efficiently ring on registers and maintain all cash at registers;
- Issuing receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers;
- Receives telephone calls, responds to inquiries made through cashier email and in person to assist client with all questions posed regarding payment,
- Collaborate with marketing team to creatively reach more potential customers,
- Manage both target and actual achievement,
- Make accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations,
- Reconcile daily payment transactions and prepare bank deposits;
JOB PROFILES:
Diploma in Management, Finance or Accounting with two years relevant working experience.

4. Energy Technician
JOB TITLE: ENERGY TECHNICIAN
NUMBER OF POSITION: 1
EMPLOYMENT TERMS: PERMANENT
JOB DESCRIPTIONS
- Installation and regular preventive maintenance of fire control equipment, carry out annual inventory,
- Test, inspect, repair and supervise the installation of domestic electrical system (domestic lighting, generators, air-conditioners, UPS, studio lighting, lifting devices and other related electrical work),
- Monitor and perform daily energy activities,
- Fill in the preventive and corrective maintenance forms during the visit, adjustments and repair on transmission sites,
- Fill in the operation forms after finishing the work assigned,
JOB PROFILES:
Diploma in electronics & telecommunication, computer science, electricity or Senior six certificate in any field with 4yrs working experience in the related field.
