AHA Rwanda- Vacancy Announcement for various positions.

Africa Humanitarian Action (AHA) is an international humanitarian non-governmental organisation providing effective humanitarian assistance to alleviate human suffering. AHA has been operating building on the strength of African people to solve African problems for the past 25 years.  AHA in partnership with the Government of Rwanda, (MINEMA) & UNHCR provides Primary Health Care, Nutrition and HIV/AIDS services to refugees residing in Kiziba,  Kigeme and Mugombwa camps, urban refugees in Kigali, for Rwandan Returnees in two Transit Centres, Kijote and Nyarushishi and two Reception Centres (Bugesera and Nyanza). AHA currently wants to employ qualified and motivated personnel for the following positions:

1. Pharmacist ( 1 Post)

Working area: AHA CO.

Requirements:

  • Must have a working knowledge and or experience on storage and management of drugs;
  • Interpersonal, communication, negotiation & analytical skills;
  • Having  drug management system software skill;
  • Fluent in English, Kinyarwanda and/ or French, knowledge of all languages  is advantageous;

Educational Requirements:

A0 in Pharmacy with 3 years working experience

2. Clinical Nurse ( 5 Posts)

Working area: AHA different sites

Requirements:

  • Nurse with clinical knowledge and experience in the Public/Private Health Centre or Hospitals;
  • Analytical and problem solving, attention to detail and high level of accuracy skills;
    Fluent in English, Kinyarwanda and/ or French, knowledge of all languages  is advantageous.

Educational Requirements:

A1/A0 in General Nursing or related field with working experience 2-4 years in Clinical Nursing.

Starting date: As soon as possible

Period: Until 31 December 2020 with a probation of 60 days.

Required: Rwandan Nationality

These posts require related working experience with NGOs interacting with refugees or displaced population.
