Reporting channel: reports to the Human Resource and Logistics Officer
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop a criterion to determine the status of public service vehicles before registration;
• Undertake on an annual/half yearly inspections to gauge road worthiness of public service vehicles and ensure compliance with Traffic Act and Laws of Rwanda and Subsidiary rules thereunder;
• Provide technical assistance in checking compliance of all categories of motor vehicles to the Traffic Act and Laws of Rwanda;
• Manage the process of re-inspection of motor vehicles after failed initial /routine/periodical/random inspection;
• Provide technical assistance to the Police investigation to determine pre-accident status of vehicles involved in road traffic accident and for motor vehicle inspection report analysis in addition to defending the report in a court of law.
• Train staff on basic auto-mobile mechanics
• Perform any other relevant tasks as assigned by the SPIUC/ RTDA Management
Minimum Qualifications

Driving License categories (B,C,D,DI or F)
3 Years of relevant experience
