1.Demand Creative Officer

JOB TITLE: DEMAND CREATIVE OFFICER

NUMBER OF POSITION: 1

EMPLOYMENT TERMS: PERMANENT



JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

  • The Demand Creative officer will be reporting to the Marketing manager and will study different clients and assess the effectiveness of their communication plans and channels and make counter effective communication offers into a more comprehensive graphical/innovative form to stimulate demand;
  • Work closely with the brand officers to develop different promotional concepts to grow sales and build brands for the SBUs and the clients;
  • Think creatively to develop different advertising concepts and promotional materials;
  • Use innovation skills in creating new sales and promotions of the Strategic Business Units (SBUs)
  • Help in commercial production graphical work,
  • Produce various products and service designs, mock ups, artworks and demos.




SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

  • Extensive understanding of graphics designing,
  • Excellent computer skills,
  • Excellent communication, reporting and presentation skills,
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and French is essential. Knowledge of Kiswahili & Kinyarwanda would be advantageous

JOB PROFILES:

Degree in any field with 3yrs working experience in graphics designing or Sales and marketing in a corporate institution.

2.Multimedia Producer

JOB TITLE : MULTIMEDIA PRODUCER



NUMBER OF POSITION: 1

EMPLOYMENT TERMS: PERMANENT

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

    • Monitor and improve RBA website with a focus on growing online audience by increase visitors, page views, average time on site visit etc.
    • Produce graphics, source material, multimedia content for online communication,
    • Perform routine updates of website including but not limited to audio, video            promotion packages, photo galleries and other online content,




  • Commitment to create an interactive, user centered, intuitive, and sticky environment.
  • Keep content focused on marketing and promoting RBA stations and websites,
  • Updating RBA Social Media sites such as Twitter, Google+ and Hangouts as well as Facebook profiles.
  • Identify, monitor important local blogs, websites, twitter handles for RBA sites visitors,
  • Avoid broken links, broken images etc.
  • Maintain a positive attitude to promote RBA core values,
  • Perform other duty assigned by the immediate supervisor.

JOB PROFILES:

Degree in any field with 2yrs experience in related field or Diploma in Journalism & Communication with 4yrs working experience in online publication and video editing.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

The candidates should have excellent Communication and written skills in English, French and Kinyarwanda.

3. TV Sports Producer/ Director- 4 Positions

JOB TITLE: TV SPORTS PRODUCER/ DIRECTOR

NUMBER OF POSITIONS: 4

EMPLOYMENT TERMS: CONTRACT

 JOB DESCRIPTIONS

    • Help schedule all live broadcasts and maintain a firm line of communication with the Programs MANAGER to ensure all sports related broadcasts are scheduled properly and sports staff members are able to fill the required roles for broadcasting an event,
    • Schedules daily (Monday­ – Sunday) sports talk related broadcasts at a consistent time each day and fills all necessary roles for each broadcast in advance,
    • Provides assistance and training to any new members on the sports staff with general on-air procedures, equipment usage, and any technical questions they may have,




  • Collaborate with Program Director to schedule play by play broadcasts at the beginning of each semester and ensures broadcast crew is filled one week in advance of each broadcast,
  • Produce sports stories and special programs both live and pre-recorded for broadcast and digital platforms,
  • Direct live broadcasts, OUT Door games and recordings, or non-broadcast programming for public Sport entertainment.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of camera, lighting, design, and sound crew members.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

JOB PROFILES:

years experience in Sports production on TV (attach proof of experience)



TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

  • ENG Cameras and Recorders
  • Video Image Editing systems
  • Digital CMS platforms
  • Organized
  • Detail Oriented
  • Experience with broadcast equipment and production environments, including cameras, control boards, audio equipment and editing systems.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

The candidates should have excellent Communication, directing and editing skills.  Fluency in written and spoken Kinyarwanda is essential. Knowledge of French and English is an added advantage.

4.Studio lighting technician

JOB TITLE: STUDIO LIGHTING TECHNICIAN

NUMBER OF POSITION: 1

EMPLOYMENT TERMS: PERMANENT 



JOB DESCRIPTIONS

    • Set up lighting equipment,
    • Assemble all the lighting and filter equipment needed,
    • Ensure all lighting equipment is in working order and carry out tests,
    • Organize any necessary scaffolding and cranes,
    • Position and plot lighting,
    • Pre-rig lighting, ensuring all cables and wires are safely concealed,
    • Load automated colour change systems,
    • Check the focusing of lighting at rehearsals,
    • Operate and maintain equipment during the shoot,
    • Programme and operate lighting consoles,
    • De-rig all equipment at the end of the broadcast or production and ensure its safely         transported away from the location and/or stored,




    • Work as part of a large crew, especially on feature Shows,
    • Liaise with and work under the direction of the gaffer (who oversees electrics) and the      Producer throughout the project,
    • Attend production meetings to establish lighting requirements,
    • Liaise with the director of photography and other staff to interpret their creative vision into the lighting design,
    • Liaise with other departments, such as sound and camera, as well as with the floor manager and producer,
    • Review footage shots with the director,
    • Manage the lighting budget and advise on the purchase/hire of suitable equipment,
    • Decide on the lighting crew numbers and equipment needed and then employ the crew and hire the equipment,
    • Coordinate the equipment and the technical crew and train other crew members as   required.




JOB PROFILES:

Diploma in electronics & telecommunication, computer science, electricity or certificate in any field with 4yrs exp.

5. TV Engineers- 2Positions




JOB TITLE: TV ENGINEERSNUMBER OF POSITIONS: 2 EMPLOYMENT TERMS: CONTRACT



JOB DESCRIPTIONS

    • Carry out daily maintenance and operation activities (OBVAN, Studios, ENG, EFP and other production programs)
    • Test, inspect, repair Studio & ENG equipment,
    • Fill in the preventive and corrective maintenance forms during the visit, adjustments and repair of studio equipment,
    • Ensure the operators in master control rooms are well-trained and have the enough skills to run the daily TV operations,
    • Perform maintenance activities in the workshop room,
    • Carry out the OBVAN production and live activities,
    • Report the equipment status to the Head of Maintenance RTV,
    • Installation and adjustment for studio, ENG and EFP equipment,
    • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisors.




JOB PROFILES:

Degree in Electronics and Telecommunications, Computer Science or any other related field
