ABOUT THE YOUNG PROFESSIONALS PROGRAM

One Acre Fund’s Young Professionals Program offers high-performing African graduates meaningful internships and training opportunities at a high-performing, mission-driven organization. ABOUT THE ROLE

  • We are looking for a Sales and Marketing Intern to provide financial management and communications support to the Seed Production (SPR) team while our Key Account Manager is on maternity leave.
  • You will learn from and contribute to a team of seed processing experts and entrepreneurs who have pioneered domestic seed processing in Rwanda.
  • You will put to practice your skills in accounting and communications while gaining new skills in a fast-growing industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The Sales and Marketing Intern will provide essential support to the Business Operations team through financial management; including client invoicing, revenue tracking, and data management.
  • You will further support department financial sustainability by creating new processes for efficient financial tracking and reporting.
  • You will be the primary liaison between clients for seed processing and the SPR team and will play an important role in client relationship management (CRM).
  • You will assist with compliance requirements within the department and maintain financial and data tracking controls.
  • You will maintain and communicate weekly status reports to management.
  • You will also have the chance to contribute to SPR marketing strategy to increase revenue, bolster department financial sustainability, promote awareness of our services, and strengthen client relations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:

  • You will have an educational background and experience in marketing and sales, accounting, financial management, business operations, or client relationship management.
  • We are looking for someone who is good with numbers, who has strong attention to detail, who prioritizes the quality of deliverables, and who is passionate about serving farmers.
  • You can write in proficient business English can communicate verbally in English and Kinyarwanda with both internal and external parties.
  • Bachelor’s degree or at a minimum have completed all required courses to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Business, Economics or any other related field.

COMPENSATION

Interns will be provided with a reasonable stipend for the duration of their contract. Rural area based fellows will be provided assistance in locating suitable housing.

2.Recruitment of a professional intern to support EPRN in managing Social Media at EPRN Rwanda

1. Background




The Economic Policy Research Network (EPRN Rwanda) is a research network aiming at strengthening the capacities of individuals and organizations active in or with an interest in economic policy research and analysis. EPRN Rwanda therefore responds to economic policy gaps resulting mainly from lack of quality and informative research and the challenge of human capacity in terms of limited numbers of economic researchers and active involvement.

The mission of EPRN Rwanda is to contribute to the evidence based economic policy making by providing high quality research, building capacity and creating networking opportunities.

EPRN wishes to recruit a professional intern to support in managing Social Media including Virtual Events.

2. Requirements

The candidate must fulfill the following requirements :
 A minimum of A2 Degree
 Experience in Social media and other form of media is a pre-requisite
 Experience in using hardware and software of video production and uploading is required
 Communication skills
 The intern must be ready to travel upcountry when required, and she/he must be willing to learn more

3. Duration

This intern will work for 4 months to be renewed upon performance and availability of funds.

Position: Public Relations Intern

Teebah Film Village is a full-service video production company based in Kigali, Rwanda, specializing in documentary film production and visual storytelling for social enterprises, NGOs, and charity organizations registered in RDB since 2017 and is looking forward to hiring a high Committed fresh graduate to be an Intern in Public Relations for 6 months that can lead to the contract if the Intern is good.

Job Description / Responsibilities:

 The Public Relations Intern will play a key role within the marketing, advertising, and communications division, developing brand awareness and securing national press for primary and secondary brands under the guidance and supervision of the company’s experienced staff.

Duties include:

  • YouTube Channel Journalism
  • Film Actor/Actress
  • Manage all marketing materials, website updates, and social media presence on behalf of the Company
  • Responsible for corporate messaging development and distribution
  • Proactively generate ways to advance the Company’s brand in industry trade publications, digital media, speaking opportunities, conference participation, and other forms of advertising.
